About the Role
Energize Marketing® is seeking a Marketing Operations & Content Manager to turn marketing strategy into well-executed campaigns, compelling content, and reliable day-to-day marketing operations.
This is a mid-level, hands-on individual contributor role for a marketing professional with strong marketing automation skills, practical experience using HubSpot, excellent writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you’ll take ownership of campaign execution, HubSpot operations, content publishing, and marketing event coordination while identifying opportunities to improve performance and efficiency.
Your primary focus will be executing Energize Marketing’s own marketing initiatives across email, social media, web, and content channels. You should be comfortable working independently within established goals, making practical decisions, and knowing when to seek additional input or specialized support.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Campaign Management
- Translate marketing briefs into coordinated campaigns across email, social media, website, and content channels.
- Manage campaign timelines, audience targeting, messaging consistency, tracking, and quality assurance.
- Coordinate with Sales and internal stakeholders to align campaign activity with lead follow-up and business objectives.
- Identify execution challenges early and recommend practical improvements to campaign performance.
HubSpot Marketing Operations
- Maintain HubSpot as an organized, accurate, and reliable platform for marketing execution and reporting.
- Independently build and manage email campaigns, audience segmentation, forms, landing pages, and routine automation workflows.
- Maintain CRM data quality, campaign tracking, and reporting to support Marketing and Sales.
- Troubleshoot routine platform issues and coordinate specialist support for complex integrations or major system changes.
Content Creation & Publishing
- Write, edit, and publish newsletters, marketing emails, social media posts, and landing page copy.
- Adapt existing research, interviews, and other content into engaging marketing materials.
- Maintain a consistent publishing schedule across newsletters, blogs, and social media channels.
- Organize content calendars, marketing assets, and published materials to ensure information remains current and accessible.
- Use AI tools thoughtfully to improve efficiency while maintaining content accuracy, originality, brand consistency, and quality.
Website & CMS Management
- Keep website and blog content current, accurate, well-formatted, and aligned with campaign priorities.
- Manage routine website updates through HubSpot CMS using existing templates.
- Coordinate larger website updates with external vendors and follow projects through completion.
Marketing Analytics & Reporting
- Maintain accurate, easy-to-understand reporting on campaign and content performance.
- Identify meaningful audience and account engagement signals and share insights with Marketing and Sales.
- Evaluate campaign results against objectives and recommend improvements to engagement, lead quality, and sales follow-up.
Event Marketing Support
- Coordinate marketing materials, branded merchandise, printing, and shipments for events and marketing activations.
- Track event deadlines, vendor deliverables, and expenses within approved budgets.
- Support event promotion and post-event follow-up as part of the broader marketing plan.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, marketing operations, content marketing, campaign management, or a related field.
- Strong practical expertise in HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform, including independent management of email campaigns, segmentation, forms, landing pages, routine workflows, reporting, CRM data, and CMS publishing. Candidates whose primary experience is in another platform should also have practical familiarity with HubSpot.
- Understanding of B2B demand generation and account-based marketing (ABM), including how audience targeting and campaign execution support Sales.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to transform marketing briefs and existing assets into clear, engaging content.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to reviewing campaigns and content before publication.
- Ability to interpret marketing performance data and recommend actionable improvements.
- Experience using AI tools to support marketing execution, with the ability to review, refine, and validate generated content.
- A proactive, collaborative working style and the ability to operate independently within established goals.
We welcome candidates with diverse career paths who can demonstrate these capabilities. Marketing automation expertise, execution skills, and writing quality matter more than a specific previous job title.
